All in all the series was very good and I hope they improve their methods if they make the English adaptation of the second season.Episode 7: "Nice Day For a Death Bazaar!" → Though if your gonna watch it I suggest you see it in it’s Original Japanese format with subtitles. Though there were A LOT of mistakes in the English adaptation of TWGOK it really shouldn’t deter anyone from watching the English version.

It was crucial to know what her songs are saying because 1)they have a lot of meaning and 2) it pretty much tells you how she really feels about Keima. Because of this I don’t think that a lot of people got the meaning of her songs which is very crucial to the story. Because some of Kanon’s songs are long they NEEDED to use subtitles but unfortunately they didn’t. Thank God for us they kept Kanon’s original songs and left it in Japanese. Unfortunately for us they were very lazy. Or 2) They keep the original Japanese version of the music and mix it in with the English adaption this method if done properly can be the best way to go about it when dubbing an anime. You see Anime’s that have original music in them can go a couple ways 1) They remake the music and translate it into English, which in my opinion is the worst ways to go about it because the meanings get lost in translation or it just doesn’t sound as good. Like most people I was really worried how they were going to ‘overcome’ this major obstacle in the English adaptation. During the Series Kanon actually sings many songs to Keima to get him to become a fan. In the first season Keima is trying to conquer an up and coming pop star named Kanon. Sheh has voiced characters like Orihime Inoue in Bleach. In the Japanese adaptation her voice is exactly like her character sweet and light pitched, though I know its impossible to get exact voices like the originals I felt that they could have found someone sweeter voice than Christian for example like Stephanie Sheh. Elsie is sweet and kind and somewhat simple minded. Christian has voiced character like Honey in Ouran High School Host Club and Rico in Gunslinger Girl. Though I wasn’t thouroly satisfied with Keima’s VA I think he did a better job than his Co-Star Luci Christian who voices Elsie. When I first thought of TWGOK being Dubbed I thought that maybe Derek Prince, who voices Uryu Ishida in Bleach, would have been a good choice for Keima. Patton has voiced characters like Akuto Sai in Demon King Daimon and Asura in Soul Eater. Though he did a good job in TWGOK I felt as though he wasn’t right for the role. In the English adaptaion Keima Katsuragi is voiced by Christopher Patton.

The Japanese version was very good in my opinion and was quite hilarious and I fell in love with it instantly. Unfortunately the English version failed to impress me as much. In January 2012 the first season of TWGOK was Dubbed.
